     Charles Bezanson was born on 8 November 1874.^2,3,4 He married Elfleda Melvin on 19 February 1919. He was 44. She was 35.¹ Charles Bezanson was the informant listed on the death certificate of Elfleda Melvin who died 18 September 1949.^5,1,6 Charles Bezanson died on 14 August 1960 at Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, at age 85.^7,1,6 The cause of death was coronary arteriosclerosis.⁷ He was buried in Hammonds Plains Baptist Cemetery, Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia.⁶

     Elfleda Melvin was also known as Annie Elfreda.² She was born on 12 December 1883.^2,3 She married Charles Bezanson on 19 February 1919. She was 35. He was 44.¹ Charles Bezanson and Elfleda Melvin appeared on the census of 1921 at Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, with Mary Mercilla Melvin.⁴ Elfleda Melvin died on 18 September 1949 at Colchester County, Nova Scotia, at age 65 in a car accident on a highway near Brookfield.      Ralph Romans Bezanson was born on 2 October 1892 at Minneapolis, Minnesota.^2,3,4,5 He was photographed with Jonathan Lawrence Bezanson and Sarah Jane Romans. Ralph Romans Bezanson married Augusta Lakeburg on 10 March 1920. He was 27. She was 25.⁵ Ralph Romans Bezanson registered for the military service draft on 27 April 1942 while living at 1309 27th Ave N.E., Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was described as having light complexion, blue eyes, blond hair, 5' 11", 165 pounds. The person who would always know his address was his mother, Mrs J. L. Bezanson.⁶ He died on 7 May 1968 at age 75.^1,4 He was buried in Hillside Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.⁷
