BEZANSON, Eva Gertrude - 79, South Farmington, formerly of Brickton, died March 9, 2003, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton.

Born in Bear River, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Bertha (Hunt) Gehue. She was a member of Lawrencetown United Baptist Church and a former employee of United Elastics. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and writing letters.

Surviving are her son, David (Cathy), Tahsis, B.C; brothers, Clyde (Laura) Gehue, Lawrencetown; Harry Gehue, Brantford, Ont; grandsons, Jeffrey and Greg.

She was predeceased by her husband, Vernon; brothers, Boyd, Russell; sisters, Addie, Isabel; infant sister, Bessie. Visiting will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Lawrencetown United Baptist Church, Rev. Eugene Foster officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown.3

     Alexander Hiltz was born on 24 May 1806 at Marriotts Cove, Nova Scotia.1 He married Salome Sarah Bezanson on 30 December 1830 at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, Chester, Nova Scotia. He was 24. She was 23.2,3 Alexander Hiltz died on 13 April 1875 at age 68.2
