BEZANSON, Otto Laurie -91, of Berwick, formerly of Auburn, passed away Friday, July 10, 2009, in Grand View Manor, Berwick.

Born in the The Forties, Lunenburg Co., he was a son of the late James and Jenny (Hubley) Bezanson. Otto was retired from CE Section, 14 Wing Greenwood. In his early years he worked in the woods in New Ross. He later moved to the Valley, where he was employed in Camp Aldershot and CFB Greenwood. Otto enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing bingo, cards and visiting with family and friends.

He is survived by daughters, Sandra (Lewis) Lutz and Sheila (Paul) Vail, both of Aylesford; sons, Laurie (Mona Pearl) Lutz, Margaretsville; Willis (Wayne Kelley) Bezanson, Kingston; Brian (Janet Corkum) Bezanson, Auburn; Gerry (Kim) Bezanson, Truro; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Dorothy Lutz; grandson, Derrick Bezanson; brothers, Cecil and Willis and sister, Gladys. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m., Monday, July 13, in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., Rev. Charles Bull officiating and assisted by Pastor Gerry Bezanson. Interment will be in Aylesford Union Cemetery.6
