He was 34.5 Joseph Crandel Bezanson was the informant listed on the death certificate of Carrie Bezanson who died 24 December 1876.6,5 Joseph Crandel Bezanson died on 15 October 1895 at Hantsport, Nova Scotia, at age 81.7,8 He was buried in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport, Nova Scotia.5

     Rachael Mary Borden was born in 1823.1 She may have been a daughter of John & Rachael (Dill) Borden. She married Joseph Crandel Bezanson on 25 November 1848. He was 34.1 Rachael Mary Borden died on 6 June 1919 at Dorchester, Massachusetts.2,1 Sarah Bezanson met the remains of Rachael Mary Borden at the railway station on 6 June 1919. According to the undertaker's records cited by Bezansons from Nova Scotia, Rachel died of heart disease at age 96.1

BEZANSON -- In Dorchester, June 6, Rachel Bezanson, 96 yrs. at the residence of Capt. W. Davison, 18 Feneloo st. Services and burial at Hantsport. N. S.2
