     Eric Elmer Bezanson was born circa 1947 at New Waterford, Nova Scotia.2 He lived in New Waterford, Nova Scotia.1 He died on 4 January 2005 in a car accident.2

ERIC ELMER BEZANSON - 58 - New Waterford - Eric Elmer Bezanson, of New Waterford, died in an automobile accident on Tuesday January 4, 2005.

Born in New Waterford, he was the son of Weldon Bezanson and the late Stephanie (Podgurski) Bezanson.

Surviving are three sisters Mary (the late Billy) White of New Waterford, Doreen (Paul) MacEwan of Lingan, and Kathleen (Raymond) Thomas of Sydney, one brother Peter of Glace Bay and also nieces and nephews.

Eric was a former miner who loved talking, singing and mixing with friends. His special love was country music. He will always be remembered as a kind and gentle soul.

Visitation will take place at McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Avenue, New Waterford o Friday January 7, 2005 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday January 8, 2005 at 2 pm in All Saints Church, New Waterford, with burial in the parish cemetery with Rev. Stacey Renouf officiating.2

     Peter Bezanson was born in 1953.2 He died on 28 May 2017 at Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, Nova Scotia.2

     Obituary, 1 June 2017:
Peter Bezanson, age 64 of Glace Bay and a former resident of New Victoria passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.

Born in New Waterford, he was the son of the late Weldon Elmer and Stephanie (Podgurski) Bezanson.

Peter was a resident of Terrace Manor in Glace Bay and he truly enjoyed his time at the manor.

He is survived by three sisters, Mary White, Sydney, Kathleen (Raymond) Thomas, Sydney and Doreen MacEwan, Lingan.

Peter was predeceased by his brother, Eric.

Cremation has taken place. A private burial will be held in All Saints Anglican Cemetery, New Waterford at a later date.2

     Marguerite Evelyn Bezanson was born on 12 April 1918 at Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia.1,3,2 She married Clifford Caswell Colley on 23 August 1937 at Seabrook, New Hampshire. She was 19. He was 21.4,5,2 Marguerite Evelyn Bezanson died on 24 February 1999 at Harborside Healthcare, Clearwater, Florida, at age 80.6,7 She was buried in Bay Pines National Cemetery, Bay Pines, Florida. Her name is also on a marker in Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton, Massachusetts, but I suspect she is actually interred in Florida.3,7

COLLEY, MARGUERITE B., 80, of Clearwater, died Wednesday (Feb. 24, 1999) at Harborside Healthcare, Clearwater. She was born in Bridgeton, Nova Scotia, and came here in 1974 from Swampscott, Mass. She worked as a legal secretary and was a member of Clearwater Country Club.

Survivors include a son, Henderson, Denver; two daughters, Jean Vaughan, Knoxville, Tenn., and Susan Presto, Conway, S.C; and a sister, Phyllis Gamasche, Byfield, Mass.
