     Death Notice:
Dorothy K. Bezanson, 87

Dorothy K. Bezanson, 87, died Aug. 10 at Emerson Hospital after suffering a stroke.

A resident of Acton from 1961 to 1979, and again during the final years of her life, Mrs. Bezanson was a dedicated wife and mother. She was the wife of Richard Bezanson for 49 years, before his death in 1997.

Together they raised four sons during her initial stay in Acton, each of which graduated from the Acton- Boxborough schools.

Mrs. Bezanson often proclaimed that she lived for her children, seeing them through many an illness and injury without thought for herself. Her dedication to her husband was also measured with self-sacrifice, most notably during Mr. Bezanson's last year of life when he was ravaged with diabetes.

She is survived by four sons: Jeffrey of Boxborough, Peter of Ashby, James of Arlington, and Mark of Stow; her sister Betty Young, and several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.2
Dorothy Kenney was born circa 1920.2 She married Richard Buel Bezanson in 1948 at Cambridge, Massachusetts.3,4,5,6 Dorothy Kenney died on 10 August 2007 at Emerson Hospital, Concord.2
