Barnard, Geraldine Evelyn - 66, Halifax, passed away April 7, 2002, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born May 25, 1935 in Ecum Secum West, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Laura (Bezanson) Barnard.
She is survived by sisters, Effie Giffen, Edith Munroe and Melva Morash, all of Halifax; Vera Dixon, Dartmouth; Phyllis Prudhomme, Port Alberni, B.C; Dixie Dupon, Chatsworth, Ont; half-sister, Anita Pye, Windsor Elms; brothers, Reginald, Yarmouth County, and James, Ecum Secum West; Steven, Halifax and Ecum Secum East; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, one brother and one half-sister; three half-brothers.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday with prayers at 7:30 p.m. in Ecum Secum Funeral Home. Funeral 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Anglican Church, Mitchell Bay.1
