He was 34.3,4 After Afton Fenton Bezanson's death in a building construction accident, his widow Emily Swett Morris and his children Leila Woodbury Bezanson and Afton Fenton Bezanson brought suit against the building contractor seeking $25,000 in damages.5 Emily Swett Morris died in 1956 at Marblehead, Massachusetts.6

A self-employed carpenter all of his life, he was also an avid guitar player and would be accompanied by his wife who is an accomplished fiddler. They also both enjoyed step dancing. In addition, he had a great love of gardening and farming.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Mary (Thompson) Lunn, Pepperell, Mass; sons, Lewis L. and wife Joyce Lunn, Cyril Lunn and Dale Lunn, all of Pepperell, Mass; Laurie and wife Susan Lunn, Kentville; Danny Lunn, Ontario; David and wife Angel Lunn, Fryeburg, Me; daughters, Juanita and husband John Sarao, Hollis, N.H; Myrna and husband James Gheen, Manassas, Va; Lorraine and husband Jack Hendry, Lake Placid, Fla; Esther and husband Tony Kalkman, Kentville; 28 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; sisters, Melda Alexander, Edith Harnish, Clara Lunn, Ida Harvey, all of Nova Scotia; brother, Joseph, Nova Scotia.

HARNISH, Edythe Ruth — 87, Halifax, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2001, in Armview Estates, Halifax. Born in Falmouth, she was a daughter of the late Shaw and Alma (Bezanson) Lunn.
Surviving are daughter, Elsie (Dr. J. Stuart) Soeldner, Sacramento, Calif; brother, Joseph, New Canaan; sisters, Melda Landry, Windsor; Clara Lunn, Centreville; Ida Harvey, Halifax: grandchildren, Beth, Judi; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Harnish; brothers, Lewis, Budd, Raymond; sisters, Edna Lantz, Lallain Bezanson; grandson, Stephen.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Rd., Halifax. Memorial service and burial at a later date.4

Born June 25, 1916, in Upper Vaughan, Hants Co., she was a daughter of the late Horace and Beulah (Bezanson) O'Leary. She was a member of Christ Church (Anglican), Windsor. Before moving into the Windsor Elms, she was a resident of Grey Street, Windsor for many years.
She is survived by her former husband, Norman Mumford, Windsor Elms; daughter, Emily Hines (Bob), Brooklyn; sons, Reginald (Laura), Three Mile Plains; Ormal (Pauline), Westphal; James (Betty), Stanley; grandchildren, Terry Mumford, Mark (Dawn) Mumford, Jill Coldwell, Sandra Mumford, Sharon Mumford, Cathy (Paul) Robichaud, Rick Hines, Timmy Hines, Sherri (Craig) Greenough, Cindy MacLeod (Darryl Hyson), Heather Hines-Clarke (Steve), Natalie and Jennifer Mumford; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Elva Newcombe, Windsor; brother, Victor "Vic" (Lola) O'Leary, Martock; sister-in-law, Dorothy O'Leary, St. Croix; several nieces and nephews.
