Gerald D. "Jerry" Bezanson, 63 of Lake Havasu, AZ died October 3, 2002 at Lake Havasu Regional Hospital.
He was born December 26, 1938 in Malden, Mass., son of the late Clifford and Alice Bezanson. He was a resident of Lake Havasu for the past 14 years, formerly living in Lawrence, Mass.
Family members include his wife, Jeanne (Vancoppenol) Bezanson of Lake Havasu; two step sons, Dan Vancoppenol of Lawrence, Mass., John Vancoppenol of Merrimack, Mass., and a stepdaughter, Linda Vancoppenol; two daughters, Alice and Cindy; one son, Gerald, Jr; two stepchildren, Tammy and Gerald and several grandchildren; a brother, Charles Bezanson; two sisters, Peggy Marchisio and Barbara Morrison, a late sister, Eva Lafauci, a late brother, Paul Bezanson and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 9th at 11:00 AM at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, 21 Riviera Blvd., Lake Havasu. Also a service will be held in New England at a later date.2

HAMILTON, Sarah Lillian "Grannie Sarah" - Joined the Angels in Heaven on Friday, September 3, 2004, at the age of 94, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Massachusetts, U.S.A., a daughter of the late James and Martha (Cooke) Bezanson. She and her family moved to Meadowvale when she was a young child, where she resided for most of her life. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a member of the Upper Stewiacke United Church and a lifetime member of the United Church Women. She was a member of the South Branch Community Council and also was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Valley Branch 147, Royal Canadian Legion, Upper Musquodoboit for many years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, word games, bingo and in earlier years she did a lot of quilting. Her home was always open to family and friends and any time spent with those she loved was very special to her. She was a friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered as a good friend, a loving sister, a caring mother, grandmother and aunt. Left to remember her great strength and wisdom are her daughters, Kathleen "Kaye" Hamilton, Chaplin; Beulah and husband, Kenneth Graham, Upper Stewiacke; Frances and husband, Fred Arbuckle, Donkin, Cape Breton; Barbara and husband, Richard Dean, Middle Musquodoboit; sons, Perley and wife, Betty, Newton Mills; Neil and wife, Eleanor, Dean Back Road; daughter-in-law, Lauretta Hamilton, Hilden. Sarah created many wonderful memories for her 21 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. She always appreciated the many visits and the love that was extended to her by her many nieces and nephews.
Sarah was predeceased by her husband, Herbert; sons, Lyman, Herman and Ervin; grandson, Kirk Graham; great-grandson, Frederick John Arbuckle; son-in-law, Neil E. Hamilton; sisters, Irma McDermott, Charlotte Hamilton, Alice Bezanson and Anne Anderson. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Co-operative, Upper Musquodoboit. There will be visitation in Upper Stewiacke United Church today between 7 and 9 p.m. A service in celebration of Sarah's life will be held in Upper Stewiacke United Church on Monday, September 6 at 6:30 p.m. with Rev. Alice Rutherford and Rev. Natalie Buchanan officiating. Burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery.3

ROGERS, Martha Louise -- We regret to announce the passing of Martha Rogers of Dean Settlement in Colchester Hospital on Saturday, August 18th, 2012. Born in Woodside, Mom was the eldest daughter of the late Raymond and Charlotte (Bezanson) Hamilton.
Mom was a homemaker most of her life but also worked on rural mail delivery as well as Stanfield's. Mom spent endless hours on her crafts, reading and jigsaw puzzles.
Mom is survived by her husband, Doug; daughters, Linda Fraserm Truro; Audrey Madden (Bill), St. Peter's, Cape Breton; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Reg and Raye Hamilton.
Mom was predeceased by sister, Beatty (Miller) (De-Bruin); son-in-law, Ronnie Fraser; grandson-in-law Mike Zandbergen.
Cremation has taken place. Committal service will be held in Riverside Cemetery in Upper Stewiake on Saturday, August 25th, with a celebration of life to be held after in Dean Church Hall from 2-4 pm.2
