Marie Elizabeth Langille was baptized on 22 May 1760 at Baptised St. John's Church, Nova Scotia. She was born on 22 May 1760 at Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.1,2 She married Jean Jacques George Tattrie circa 1783 at Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia.1,3

Notes from an email from Allen Fletcher, July 23, 1996:

Marie Elizibeth Langille 1760- (Trace backed to Daniel Langille 1632) Maria Elizabeth Langille was baptized May 22, 1760 (St. John's, Lunenburg)

From the book: The Tattrie Family of River John, Nova Scotia, by Gordon MacKay Haliburton, Pg. 118 1st paragraph - David Langille and his third wife, Maria Catherine Besancon (Bezanson) were the parents of Maria Elizabeth, who was baptised at Lunenburg on 22nd May, 1769. She is said (by the late George Louis Tattrie) to have married George Tattrie when she was 16 and he was 60. She was 16 in 1776, but he was not 60 until 1782, if our dates are correct. Family tradition may be more reliable about his age, as this would make the birth of their son George, in 1784, reasonable as the eldest of the family.
