1922 - 2003.

BRUNSWICK -- Alice M. Stone, 81, of Farmington, died Monday, Nov. 3, at Parkview Hospital in Brunswick.

Born in Bath, March 13, 1922, the daughter of Samuel W. and Eva Bezanson Prest, she attended Bath schools.

In February of 1953, she married Edwin Stone at the Methodist Church in Farmington. He died in April of 1982.

She worked as a sorter and packer in factories around the area.

Survivors include two sisters, Florence Berry of Nashua, N.H. and Frances Johansen of West Bath; a sister-in-law, Hilda Prest of Fort Kent; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by sisters, Pauline Prest and Evelyn Gallant; and brothers, Ernest and Stanley Prest.2

Pauline F. Prest

CAPE ELIZABETH--Pauline F. Prest, 63, of 16 Smuggler's Cove Road, died Monday at a Portland hospital.

She was borm in Bath, a daughter of Samuel and Eva Bizanson Prest. She attended schools there, graduated from Morse High School and received nurse's training in Lewiston.

Miss Prest was a nurse in the Navy and served in the Vietnam War. She retired from the Navy as a lieutenant commander.

She was a member of the Retired Officers Association.

Surviving are a brother, Ernest Prest of Brunswick, and two sisters, Peg Berry of Yarmouth and Alice Stone of Farmington.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Road, South Portland. Spring burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bath.4
