     Geraldine Lillian Kenney was born on 31 October 1940 at Antigonish, Nova Scotia.1 She married Larry Mason circa 1960.2 Geraldine Lillian Kenney died on 21 March 2020 at Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital, Sheet Harbour, Nova Scotia, at age 79.1

Geraldine Lillian Mason

Age 79, of Sheet Harbour, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 with her loving family by her side in Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital, Sheet Harbour. Born October 31, 1940 in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Pearl (Bezanson) Kenney.

Geraldine was a nursing aid at Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital starting at the age of 16 and continuing until the age of 64. In her spare time she loved camping with her family and bowling. She was the first president of the Sheet Harbour Lioness Club. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.

Survived by her husband of 60 years, Larry; daughters, Tammy (Eric) McNutt, Onslow Mountain; Shawna (Royden) Spears, New Glasgow; son, Gary (Mandy), Lower Sackville; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lily Kenney (Shannon Burnie), Delaps Cove.
Predeceased by brothers, Eric, Cecil (Nancy).

Due to the Nova Scotia State of Emergency there will be no visitation or funeral at this time. The family would like to thank the nurses of Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Geraldine.1

     Cecil Alexander Kenney was born on 21 January 1942 at Watt Section, Nova Scotia.1 He married Nancy MacGillivary.2 Cecil Alexander Kenney died on 4 April 2015 at Northwood Centre, Halifax, Nova Scotia, at age 73.1

KENNEY, Cecil Alexander

Age 73 of Sheet Harbour, passed away in Northwood Center, Halifax with family at his side on April 4, 2015. Born in Watt Section on January 21, 1942, he was a son of the late Gerald and Pearl (Bezanson) Kenney.

Cecil was a member of the Halifax Police Department in the 1960s, then worked in auto body repairs, trucking and with heavy equipment for many years; for others and as an entrepreneur. He enjoyed driving, camping, his boat and spoiling his grandchildren. He loved to watch them play sports especially baseball and wrestling.

Cecil is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Patrick), Bridgewater; and son, Michael (Sherry); grandchildren, Daniel and Emily; sister, Geraldine (Larry) Mason and his special friend, Marilyn MacDonald, all of Sheet Harbour.

He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy (MacGillivary); his parents; brother, Eric; aunts and uncles.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation Sunday, April 12, 7-9 p.m. with funeral service 11 a.m. Monday, all in D.S.
Crowell and Son Funeral Home, 22558 Highway 7, Sheet Harbour, Father Francis officiating, followed by interment in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Sheet Harbour. Reception to follow in St. Peter's Church Hall. The family greatly appreciated the excellent care from nurses and staff at Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital and Northwood.1
